The Department of Human Pathology warmly welcomed its new cohort of postgraduate students during an orientation meeting held on 11th September 2026 at the Teleconference.

The meeting brought together the newly enrolled postgraduate students and members of the Department’s teaching staff, providing an opportunity for the students to be formally welcomed and introduced to the academic team and the department’s learning environment.

The Department of Human Pathology is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Ephantus Njagi Chomba as the Department's new Chairman, marking a new chapter in its leadership.

Dr. Njagi assumes the chairmanship after Dr. Peter Maturi completes his tenure, during which he guided the Department. In his new role, Dr. Njagi will lead the Department in advancing its mandate in teaching, research, diagnostic services, and professional training.

The University of Nairobi (UoN) and Wondfo Biotech have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reaffirming their commitment to strengthening training, research, knowledge exchange and professional development in pathology and laboratory sciences.
