Prof Ojuka awarding Mr Simiyu and Mr Barake for excellent performance in their work
The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) stood out in excellence as the best performing faculty in this year’s edition of the University’s Staff Recognition Awards.
Ever the beacon of scholarly and professional excellence in healthcare, the faculty emerged as the best performing faculty at the 2025-2026 Financial Year. This cemented the faculty as an embodiment of the standards to which the University aspires.
Among the nine Faculty members awarded for recording high ratings in their work, Mr. Charles Namutembi and Mr. Robert Sagara Barake represented the department.
The event was held on Thursday, 26th February 2026 and was attended by the University’s faculty and staff members, distinguished guests and external partners where the signing of the FY 2025–2026 Performance Contract also took place.
Congratulations to all staff members whose exceptional performance in driving the University’s mission and vision forward were recognized.
