Collaboration with Thomas More University of Applied Sciences

The President of Thomas More University of Applied Sciences , Prof Stijn Coenen had a 2-day visit in the University. The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Margaret Hutchinson, UON thanked the Prof Stijn Coenen for giving support in the collaboration in the meeting held on 16th February 2024 with Dr. Francis Wanyama in attendance. A number of COIL programs have been done between the two institutions with successful grant proposals written and won. He was taken through the progress on the collaboration between the two universities for the last three years. 

Also he had a discussion with Dean Prof Onyari including Dr Wanyama in Chiromo campus who took him through the various research and innovations of the faculty. The two discussed on areas of collaborations especially in ICT, Biotechnology, Biochemistry and MLST programmes.
