On Monday, Jan 6th, 2025, Dr. Francis Wanyama led Rainbow 4 Africa UK and Kenya in the County Government of Busia, in the donation of an ultrasound device to the Matayos Level 4 Hospital. The equipment was officially received by H.E the Deputy Governor of Busia, Hon. Arthur Odera, alongside the Chief Officer in Charge of the Health, Dr. Wilberforce Lusamba.

The handover was conducted by Dr. Francis Wanyama Mugeni, Chairman of Rainbow for Africa Kenya, who was accompanied by a dedicated team of R4A volunteers.

Dr Francis Wanyama led a delegation of Rainbow for Africa (R4A) UK, Italy and Kenya to visit Sio Port Sub County Hospital on Monday, 9th October 2023 to carry out monitoring evaluation and to further strengthen our collaboration in the project of maternal health. A lot of positives were tabled especially from the use of Ultrasound machine and the POCT HCG machine that were donated by the R4A.

Dr Francis Wanyama facilitated the Free Lipoma surgeries at Sio Port Sun county hospital in Busia with support from AIDEX.

The free medical camp and surgeries were conducted from 24th July to 4th August with specialist performing surgeries and giving referrals to patients who needed assistance.
