Public Lecture by Prof. Véronique Blanchard On 3rd Aug 2023
The public lecture by Prof. Véronique Blanchard on the Validation of the serum N-glycome based biomarker for ovarian cancer via a multi-center study in Kenya and Germany was held on Thursday 3rd August 2023 at the Faculty of Health Sciences, UoN, KNH campus, Lecture Theatre 3 from 11:00 a.m.
The lecture was graced by the Associate Dean, Postgraduate Prof Wagaiyu and the Acting Chairman, Dr Okemwa together with the unit heads of Hematology and Clinical Chemistry.
The study was a done by Dr Francis Wanyama as his PhD studies with Prof Blanchard as his supervisor. She cited the very educative outcomes of the study towards further research.
In addition, DAAD Nairobi office through Ms Bengelstorff presented opportunities and information on masters/doctoral programs as well as research opportunities in Germany.
The lecture had about 40 physical attendees and 100 virtual attendees from all over the world.
