H.E. The President launched the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign on December 21, 2022. The Campaign targeted the planting of at least 15 billion trees by the year 2032. In this regard, the University of Nairobi has committed to participate in this important exercise by planting trees on the respective campuses.
To support the campaign, the University has organized a tree planting exercise scheduled for Friday, April 11, 2025 at Upper Kabete Campus, field station.
The Programme starts at 8:00 am, and Transport will be available at the Faculty of Engineering at 7:15 am.
