The National AIDS & STI Control Program (NASCOP), along with the HIV Clinicians’ Society of Kenya (HIVCSOK), Infectious Diseases Society of Kenya (IDSK), and the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) organized the first-ever joint conference on Infectious Diseases and HIV. The conference was held on October 23rd to 26th 2023 at Sawela Lodge, Naivasha
The aim of the conference was to unite medical professionals and experts in the fields to encourage collaboration, share innovative approaches and enhance resilience in addressing global health threats.
Dr Barasa had an opportunity to present on Paediatric Infectious Disease Track which involved Approach to Evaluation of Primary Immunodeficiencies in Children.
