The University of Bologna and University of Nairobi have partnered on an exchange programs for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Speaking at Lecture Theatre III on Thursday, 14th March 2024, Prof Pier Paolo from Department of Medical and Surgical Science, University Of Bologna (Italy) mentioned the opportunities and challenges of the program and urged the students to apply for it either long term (24months) or short time (a few weeks).

The Department of Pathology was started through international collaboration with The Royal Infirmary Glasgow Medical School, UK.   It separated from Microbiology and since then the department has trained over 130 Postgraduates.

Ever year on 8th March, the world celebrates International Women’s Day. The Chairman, Human Pathology, Dr Peter Maturi wished all the Women working and studying in department a happy international Women’s day.
