The Department of Human Pathology joins family, colleagues, and the wider medical fraternity in celebrating the life and legacy of Professor David Githongo Gatei, a distinguished scholar, mentor, and pioneer in pathology whose contributions profoundly shaped medical education and healthcare in Kenya and across Africa.

As part of the government initiative and UON commitment to environmental conservation and aligning with the national goal of increasing forest cover to 15%, Mrs Joyce Maganga was part of a tree planting exercise at Lukenya Girls High School on 21st February 2026.

This exercise will help build a more sustainable and greener future in Kenya.
