Hematology is the branch of medicine concerned with the study of blood and blood-forming tissues, including the bone marrow, and the diseases that affect them. It involves the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of blood disorders, including anemias, leukemias, lymphomas, myelomas, and bleeding disorders.
Blood Transfusion is a science that encompasses the principles and practices involved in the collection, storage, processing, and administration of blood and blood products. It involves the safety and efficacy of blood transfusions by performing blood typing, cross-matching and quality control procedures
