Minimally Invasive Techniques Surveillance team Rwanda visit

A Minimally Invasive Techniques Surveillance team from the Department of Human Pathology visited the University Teaching Hospital of Kigali and the University Teaching Hospital of Butare in Rwanda on 20th-31st January, 2020.

The visit was aimed at assessing the implementation of minimally invasive techniques surveillance in forensic autopsies.

The team was led by Dr. Edwin Walong.

Clinical Chemistry Unit

Clinical Chemistry is a unit in the Department of Human Pathology beside other units like Hematology, Immunology, and Anatomic pathology. Clinical Chemistry is involved in teaching undergraduate students for MBChB,2ndyear, MBChB III year, BDS 2nd year, BScN. 2nd year and BSc. MLST.

The unit is also involved in teaching postgraduate students in MMed.pathology, MSc. Clinical Cytology, MSc. Clinical Chemistry.
