MicroPath training of Immunology and Clinical Chemistry units staff

MicroPATH Lab training

MicroPath Laboratory conducted a training to the staff members of Immunology and Clinical Chemistry Units on the usage of the newly acquired automated equipment which will provide clinical services to patients.

The training was done on Thursday, 26th May 2022 at the Haematology Laboratory at 2pm. Mr. Timothy from MicroPath Laboratory conducted the training on assembly of the equipment and training will continue on the following week on the operations. In attendance was Dr Barasa, Immunology Unit Head.

Human Pathology Staff among top performers at PC and Staff Recognition Award Ceremony

It was a joyous occasion as Ms. Beatrice Omweri, Senior Technologist, was awarded as one of the top performers at the University of Nairobi (UON) Performance Contracting and Staff Recognition Awards FY 2020/2021 Ceremony. 

The event occurred at Taifa Hall on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 and was presided by Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama. 

Ms. Beatrice tied in the second position together with three other staff members in the Non Teaching Staff category from the Faculty of Health Sciences.
